Powerful Hurricane Genevieve (Category 4) and Hurricane Fausto Active in Eastern and Central Pacific

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is issuing advisories for Hurricane Genevieve, a powerful Category 4 hurricane in the Eastern Pacific, and Hurricane Fausto, a Category 1 hurricane in the Central Pacific. Genevieve is moving northwestward with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph. Marine warnings are in effect for the Eastern Pacific. Significant surf is expected for the Hawaiian Islands over the next few days due to Hurricane Fausto.
