Extreme Heat Warning Issued for Southern California as Temperatures Soar to 115 Degrees

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for much of Southern California, excluding coastal areas, from Friday through Sunday. Forecasts predict dangerously hot conditions with temperatures ranging from 95 to 110 degrees in valleys, potentially reaching 115 degrees in parts of the Antelope Valley. Overnight lows are also expected to remain high, increasing the risk of heat stress and illness. Elevated risks of large wildfires are also warned.
