Extreme Heat Warning Issued for Southern California, Temperatures Up to 115°F Expected

The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for much of Southern California, excluding coastal areas, from Friday through Sunday. Forecasts predict dangerously hot conditions with temperatures ranging from 95 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit in valleys, potentially reaching 115 degrees in portions of the Antelope Valley, and nearing 120 degrees in low deserts. Heat advisories are also in effect for coastal regions, with overnight temperatures remaining high, increasing the risk of heat stress.
