Red Flag Warnings and Critical Fire Weather Conditions Issued for Wildfires in Oregon

Inter-agency fire teams are actively managing multiple wildfires in northeast Oregon, including the Hagen Fire (37,035 acres, 8% contained), Horse Ridge Fire (860 acres), Paradise Fire (979 acres), Bench Fire (67,229 acres, 46% contained), and Shingle Fire (67,416 acres, 10% contained). The National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings and "Particularly Dangerous Situation" alerts due to critical fire weather, including low relative humidity and strong winds up to 40 mph, which are expected to lead to extreme fire behavior. Evacuation alerts and orders are in place for some areas.
