Flash Flood Warning: Columbia & Richmond Counties, GA | 1.25–2” Rain | August 1, 2026

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued urgent Flash Flood Warnings for portions of Columbia County and Richmond County in east-central Georgia. Slow-moving thunderstorm clusters are unleashing rainfall rates of 1.25 to 2 inches per hour, creating dangerous, life-threatening conditions on roadways and in low-lying areas.
