Extreme Heat Warnings and Advisories Issued Across US Southwest, Including California and Arizona

The National Weather Service has issued Extreme Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories for various areas in the US Southwest, including parts of California (Indian Wells Valley, Mojave Desert) and Arizona (Marble/Glen Canyons, Oak Creek and Sycamore Canyons, Yavapai and Gila counties below 4000 feet, Grand Canyon below 4000 feet, low elevations of northeast Arizona). Highs are expected to be 5 to 14 degrees above normal, creating moderate to extreme HeatRisk through Sunday and into early next week for some locations.
