Over 600 structures have been destroyed and thousands evacuated in eastern Washington state due to fast-moving wildfires, including the Old Trails, Fairview, and Autumn Lane Fires. The blazes, driven by strong winds and soaring temperatures, have led to air quality warnings and are considered the "worst natural disaster" the region has faced. Critical fire weather conditions are expected to persist.
