Slight Risk of Severe Thunderstorms for Northern Minnesota

NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 2 of 5 slight risk for severe thunderstorms across portions of northern Minnesota for Monday, August 3rd. Damaging winds and large hail are identified as the main threats, with the possibility of tornadoes not ruled out. Storms are expected to develop in northwestern Minnesota this evening and gradually weaken as they move eastward overnight.
