Tropical Depression Likely to Form in Eastern Pacific from Tropical Wave
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) reports a tropical wave located about 1400 miles east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands has a high chance (70%) of forming into a tropical depression within the next few days as it moves west-northwestward across the central Pacific. Another tropical wave several hundred miles south-southwest of the Baja California Peninsula has a medium chance (40%) of gradual development by midweek.
