Wildfire smoke is significantly impacting air quality in multiple US states, with several locations reporting hazardous and very unhealthy Air Quality Index (AQI) values. Wenatchee, WA, recorded a hazardous AQI of 643, while Omak, WA, and The Dalles, OR, reported very unhealthy AQI values of 208 and 205, respectively. These conditions pose a significant health risk.
