Germany Issues Heat Stress Warnings and Forecasts Severe Southern Thunderstorms

The Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) has issued warnings for significant heat stress across southern and southwestern Germany for Sunday and Monday. Concurrently, strong thunderstorms are anticipated for southern Germany this afternoon and evening. These storms could bring small hail, heavy rainfall up to 15 l/sqm, and wind gusts potentially exceeding 100 km/h, posing localized risks of severe conditions.
