Heat and Air Quality Warnings Issued Across Parts of Canada

Environment Canada has issued Yellow Heat Warnings for several counties in Nova Scotia, including Annapolis, Digby, Halifax (east of Porters Lake), Halifax Metro and West, Kings, Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne, and Yarmouth. Similar Yellow Heat Warnings are in effect for Fredericton, Grand Lake, Queens County, Oromocto, and Sunbury County in New Brunswick. Additionally, Orange and Yellow Air Quality Warnings are active for various regions in British Columbia, including East Kootenay (north and south), Elk Valley, Fraser Canyon (north and south), Kinbasket, Manning-Skagit Valley, Nicola, North Columbia, North Okanagan, North Thompson, Shuswap, Similkameen, South Thompson, West Columbia, and Yoho Park-Kootenay Park.
