Tropical Storm Chan-hom is forecast to make landfall in the northern Kanto region, specifically Ibaraki and Fukushima prefectures, from late Tuesday through early Wednesday. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) anticipates issuing warnings for heavy rain, strong winds, and landslides for Fukushima Prefecture on Tuesday. The storm is currently moving northwest at 25 kilometers per hour and is expected to bring up to 40 millimeters of rain per hour in the Tohoku region, with maximum gust winds of 108 kilometers per hour.
