Unprecedented Wildfires Continue Across Wales, Military Support Requested

Wales is experiencing ongoing and unprecedented wildfires, placing immense pressure on Fire and Rescue Services. Major incidents have been declared by both South Wales and Mid and West Wales Fire Services. The Welsh Government has secured military aid to civilian authorities (MACA) from the Army to assist with operations, and the risks of further wildfires remain very high due to prolonged dry and hot weather.
