Flash Flood Warnings and Severe Thunderstorm Watches Issued Across Parts of Ohio and Colorado

The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Warnings for areas including Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Muskingum, and Perry Counties in Ohio, with 2-3 inches of rain already fallen and additional amounts expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. In Colorado, a Flash Flood Warning was in effect for Southeastern Lincoln County, where 1-2.5 inches of rain had fallen. Severe Thunderstorm Watches were also issued for several counties in East Central and Southeast Colorado, including El Paso, Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, Prowers, and Pueblo, with potential for damaging winds.
