Space Weather Prediction Center issues geomagnetic storm watches for August 27-28

NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center has issued G1 (Minor) and G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watches for August 27 and 28, respectively. These watches are due to expected coronal hole high-speed stream influences and Coronal Mass Ejections. Potential impacts include disruptions to HF radio communication, low-frequency navigation signals, and electric power grids.
