NWS Forecasts Severe Storms and Flash Flooding Risk Across Multiple U.S. Regions

The National Weather Service predicts scattered severe thunderstorms across the Northeast U.S. today, bringing risks of damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes. Flash flooding is also possible due to widespread heavy rainfall, with some areas potentially receiving up to 5 inches.
