Thailand Issues Heavy Rain and Flash Flood Warnings Across Four Regions

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) and Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) have warned 51 provinces across the North, Northeast, Central, and East regions of heavy to very heavy rainfall and the risk of flash floods, rapid run-off, and temporary flooding from August 30 to September 2, 2026. Residents in at-risk areas are advised to monitor official warnings and take precautions.
