Tropical Storm Edouard Approaches Northwest Gulf Coast, Warnings Issued

Tropical Depression Five has strengthened into Tropical Storm Edouard, now forecast to make landfall along the upper Texas or southwest Louisiana coast on Tuesday. Authorities have issued a Storm Surge Warning and Hurricane Watch for a portion of the Northwest Gulf Coast. The storm is expected to bring significant heavy rainfall, potentially 3-9 inches with isolated higher amounts, and a high risk of flash flooding, particularly east of I-45.
