Typhoon Krovanh Continues Northwestward, Forecast to Approach Amami Oshima Island

Typhoon Krovanh (Typhoon No. 24) is moving northwest toward Okinawa Prefecture and Amami Oshima island in Kagoshima Prefecture. The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts it will approach Amami Oshima around Friday, September 4, before turning back toward the south of Japan.
