Météo-France issues Orange Heatwave Alert for Southern France with temperatures up to 38°C

Météo-France has placed five departments in southern France under an Orange Heatwave Alert, a rare situation for September. A peak of strong to very strong heat is expected on Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, with temperatures climbing to 33-34°C in the Southwest and Rhône Valley, and 36-38°C between Gard and Hérault.
