Severe Weather Warning Issued for Western Australia Due to Tropical Low, Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds Expected

A tropical low-pressure system off the West Pilbara Coast is bringing heavy rain and damaging wind gusts exceeding 90 km/h across parts of west and north-west Western Australia. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding and a Flood Watch for the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions. Additionally, severe thunderstorms are possible in the far southwest, including around Perth, with risks of damaging winds and bursts of heavy rain.
