Tropical Storm Lowell Active in Central Pacific; Typhoon Dujuan and Tropical Depression 14E Forecast

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently issuing advisories for Tropical Storm Lowell in the Central Pacific, with marine warnings also in effect for the Eastern Pacific. Separately, forecasters anticipate Tropical Depression 14E in the Eastern Pacific will strengthen into Tropical Storm Norbert and could become a major hurricane on a westward course towards Hawaii. A massive Typhoon named Dujuan is also expected to develop in the Western Pacific within the next five days.
