Red Flag Warnings Issued Across Five US States for Critical Fire-Weather Conditions

The National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings for parts of Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Idaho, and South Dakota. Very low relative humidity, dry vegetation, and gusty winds up to approximately 65 km/h (40 mph) are creating critical fire-weather conditions. These warnings are mostly for the afternoon and evening of September 10, expiring between 20:00 and 21:00 MDT (02:00–03:00 UTC on September 11).
