Tropical Storm Norbert Weakens in Eastern Pacific, Expected to Dissipate Mid-Week

Tropical Storm Norbert, located well west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, has weakened with maximum sustained winds of 50 mph (85 km/h). The National Hurricane Center (NHC) issued Advisory Number 13 at 11 AM HST (2100 UTC) on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Norbert is moving west-northwestward and is expected to continue this motion, with further weakening anticipated to begin on Sunday. It could degenerate into a remnant low by Wednesday and dissipate by Thursday. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
