Scattered Thunderstorms and Localized Heavy Rain Expected in Germany

The Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) has issued a warning situation report for Germany, forecasting scattered thunderstorms throughout Sunday, September 13, 2026. In the afternoon, particularly in the western regions, multi-hour heavy rain is not excluded, with a possibility of small-scale heavy rain exceeding 20 l/sqm within a few hours around noon and afternoon. A frontal system from Western Europe is moving slowly southeastward over Germany, bringing moist maritime air.
