A cold front is bringing a noticeable change to southeastern Australia, with many areas forecast to see daytime temperatures 4 to 8°C below the September average by mid-week. In contrast, western Western Australia is expected to heat up, with temperatures peaking up to 12°C above average. Numerous wind warnings are also in place across the southeast.
