Dangerous Heat Continues Across South-Central U.S. with Heat Advisory for Western Kentucky
Dangerous heat and high humidity are forecast to persist across much of the south-central U.S. through at least midweek, with highs well into the 90s and low 100s. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for far southwest portions of Western Kentucky on Monday, September 14, 2026, extending to the entire region on Tuesday. Several days of major to extreme HeatRisk are likely, increasing the potential for heat-related illnesses.
