Australia Confirms Strong El Niño, Raising Bushfire and Temperature Concerns

Australia's Bureau of Meteorology confirms a strong El Niño is active and expected to persist through spring and summer. This phenomenon increases the risk of above-average temperatures and bushfires across most of Australia in the coming months. Additionally, parts of southeastern Australia, including southern New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania, are likely to experience below-average rainfall from October to December.
