Tropical Depression Fifteen-E Continues Westward in Eastern Pacific

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) issued Advisory Number 8 for Tropical Depression Fifteen-E at 8:00 AM PDT (1500 UTC) on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The depression is located about 1025 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, moving westward with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. Little change in strength is forecast for the next few days, and it is expected to become a post-tropical cyclone by 60 hours. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
