Southern France on Orange Alert for Heavy Rain and Flooding

Météo-France has issued an orange alert for Lozère, Gard, and Hérault in southern France, anticipating heavy rain, flooding, and thunderstorms from Tuesday midnight through Wednesday. Particularly intense thunderstorms are expected in the southeast, with significant rainfall, potentially reaching 200-250 mm, and locally up to 300 mm, over two days in the Cévennes region.
