Tropical Storm Nolo Nears Hurricane Strength, Tropical Storm Warning in Effect for Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument

Tropical Storm Nolo is moving west-northwestward and is expected to strengthen to a hurricane within the next 48 hours. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument from Nihoa to Lisianski Island, including French Frigate Shoals and Maro Reef, where tropical storm conditions are expected within 36 hours.
