Haze Situation Update for Singapore with Unhealthy Air Quality Forecast

Singapore is experiencing a haze situation, with moderate to dense smoke plumes from southern Sumatra and fires in Kalimantan drifting towards the region. The 24-hour PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) is forecast to be in the High Moderate to Low Unhealthy range. Health advisories recommend that healthy persons reduce prolonged or strenuous outdoor physical exertion when the 24-hr PSI is unhealthy, while vulnerable groups like the elderly, pregnant women, children, and those with chronic lung/heart disease should minimize or avoid such activities.
