Hurricane Nolo, a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 115 mph (185 km/h), is crossing the International Dateline. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) issued its last advisory as the storm moves westward at 17 mph (28 km/h). Nolo is expected to continue its westward motion for the next few days, with additional strengthening forecast over the next day or so before a weakening trend begins mid-week. Large swells associated with Nolo will continue to affect the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
