Environment Canada Issues Wind Warning for Parts of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for parts of Cape Breton, specifically Victoria County and Inverness County – Mabou and north. Maximum wind gusts of 90 km/h are expected until around midnight on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. High-sided vehicles could be affected, and disruptions to transportation, services, and utilities are possible.
