Germany Issues Severe Weather Warning for Thunderstorms, Rain, and Strong Winds

The Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) has issued a severe weather warning for western and southwestern Germany, anticipating local thunderstorms, heavy rainfall up to 15 l/sqm, and stormy gusts reaching 65 km/h this evening and overnight. Winds will also strengthen significantly along the North Sea and in exposed mountain regions, with gales up to 80 km/h expected.
