Tropical Storm Isaias has developed off eastern Mexico and is projected to intensify into a hurricane before making landfall on the U.S. Gulf Coast later this week. The storm, with current winds near 40 mph, is forecast to bring 3 to 10 inches of rain to the central Gulf Coast, posing risks of flash, urban, and river flooding. Life-threatening surf and rip current conditions are also anticipated.
