National Weather Service Issues Wind Advisory for Southern Nevada and Surrounding Areas

The NWS Las Vegas has issued a Wind Advisory for Lake Mohave, the Lower Colorado River Valley, and parts of Southern Nevada, effective from Thursday morning until Friday morning. North-to-northeast winds of 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are anticipated. These conditions could lead to unsecured objects blowing around, tree limb damage, power outages, and difficult driving, also posing hazards for small craft.
