Typhoon Champi Strengthens to Category 4, Typhoon Warning for Guam

Typhoon Champi has strengthened into a Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 140 mph (225 kph) and is moving west towards Guam. Guam and Rota are under a typhoon warning, while Tinian and Saipan are under a tropical storm warning and typhoon watch. The storm is forecast to pass south of Guam early Sunday local time and continue intensifying through the day.
