Tropical Storms Vance and Olana Active in Eastern and Central Pacific

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is actively issuing advisories for Tropical Storm Vance in the Eastern Pacific and Tropical Storm Olana in the Central Pacific. Tropical Storm Vance's maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 70 mph (110 km/h), with gradual weakening expected over the coming days. Tropical Storm Olana has seen its maximum sustained winds increase to near 40 mph (65 km/h), with slight intensification possible today before weakening is forecast to begin on Monday.
