Thailand Forecasts Violent Storms, Heavy Rain, and Flash Floods from November 5-9

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued its eighth warning for unstable weather across Thailand from November 5-9, 2026. Upper Thailand is expected to experience thunderstorms, strong gusts, hail, and localized heavy rain from November 5-7. The South will see increased heavy to very heavy rainfall from November 7-9, raising risks of flash floods and mountain runoffs. Rough sea conditions are also anticipated.
