UN Denounces Extensive Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon

Israel carried out significant airstrikes across Lebanon on April 8th and 9th, causing numerous civilian casualties and extensive damage. The UN Secretary-General strongly condemned these actions, stressing the importance of safeguarding civilians and infrastructure, even as a US-Iran ceasefire was in effect. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu clarified that the ceasefire does not cover operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
