European Union and WHO boost efforts against Ebola outbreaks in DRC and Uganda.

The European Union and the World Health Organization are increasing their collaborative efforts to assist national governments in addressing current Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. The EU is providing €15 million in humanitarian aid, with a portion specifically allocated to the WHO, to bolster emergency responses and readiness. This joint initiative seeks to quickly control disease transmission and enhance regional preparedness.
