WHO Announces Ebola Recoveries and New Treatment Center in Eastern Congo

The World Health Organization's Director-General reported five patient recoveries from a rare Ebola strain during a visit to Bunia, eastern Congo. A new treatment facility has also been established in the city, which is central to the ongoing outbreak. The region has recorded 134 confirmed cases and 18 fatalities across Congo and neighboring Uganda.
