NATO establishes new land forces presence in Finnish Lapland

NATO has officially activated its Forward Land Forces in Finland's Lapland region. This initiative aims to bolster Finland's defenses and strengthen the Alliance's northern flank. A multinational staff will be based in Rovaniemi, with a Swedish-led battlegroup positioned in Boden to enhance regional presence.
