Haiti's Internal Displacement Surpasses 1.5 Million Due to Rising Violence

Haiti is experiencing a worsening humanitarian situation, with nearly 1.5 million people now internally displaced due to escalating violence, a record high. Over half of those affected are women and girls, and recent violence in Cité Soleil alone displaced thousands. The capital, Port-au-Prince, now accounts for over 300,000 displaced individuals.
