European Union Unveils New Sanctions Against Russia and Supporting Entities

The European Union has put forward its 21st package of sanctions targeting Russia, which includes a visa ban for veterans and new restrictions on oil. The measures also aim at companies in several third countries accused of aiding the Russian military. Furthermore, the proposal includes transaction bans on numerous Russian and other financial institutions, a ban on crypto asset services, and expanded export/import restrictions.
