EU Establishes New Partnership Mission in Armenia to Enhance Resilience
The Council of the European Union has appointed Cosmin George Dinescu as the Head of Mission for the newly established European Union Partnership Mission in Armenia (EUPM Armenia). Starting June 11, 2026, for an initial mandate of one year, the mission aims to enhance Armenia's resilience and crisis management capabilities. EUPM Armenia will provide strategic and operational advice to support the country in addressing multi-layered threats, including cyber-attacks, foreign information manipulation, and illicit financial flows.
