Israel and Hezbollah Renew Ceasefire After Brief Resurgence of Hostilities

A US-brokered peace deal between the United States and Iran preceded an initial ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah. Despite this, fighting resumed in southern Lebanon, causing casualties. Following mediation, both parties have once again agreed to a cessation of hostilities. Iran is reportedly linking nuclear talks to Israel's actions against Hezbollah.
