UN Reports Decelerating Progress in Global Fight Against HIV/AIDS

A high-level UN meeting on HIV/AIDS has issued a serious warning about the slowing pace of progress in combating the disease. Decades of achievements are now jeopardized by financial constraints and diminishing support. Participants urged governments to renew their commitment to eradicating AIDS as a public health threat by 2030 and to endorse a new guiding declaration.
